In celebration of the upcoming Pride Month, we look at scholarship resources for LGBTQ+ students. Note that the below list is not exhaustive, but is intended to provide a starting place for LGBTQ+ students to launch their scholarship searches. Your high school's counseling office, general scholarship search sites like www.scholarships.com, and college websites can also provide useful scholarship information.

- Current high school seniors from New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut should consider applying for the Live Out Loud Young Trailblazers Scholarship, which is awarded based on demonstrated financial need.
- The League Foundation currently administers five different scholarship programs for incoming college freshmen.
- Check out your local PFLAG chapter for scholarship opportunities. For example, PFLAG New Orleans offers college scholarships to students who identify as LGBTQ+ and reside in Louisiana.
- The Stonewall Community Foundation offers two scholarships: the Traub-Dicker Rainbow Scholarship for lesbian women and the Levin-Goffe Scholarship for LGBTQ+ Immigrants.
