Identity-Based Scholarship Series: Scholarships for LGBTQ+ Students
In celebration of the upcoming Pride Month in June, we explore scholarship resources for LGBTQ+ students. Note that the below list is not exhaustive, but intended to provide a starting place for LGBTQ+ students to launch their scholarship searches. Your community resources, high school counseling office, general scholarship search sites like www.scholarships.com, and college websites can also provide useful scholarship information.
- The Point Foundation awards college scholarships and mentorship programs to help students meet their post-secondary education goals.
- Are you a resident of Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon or Washington? Check out the Pride Foundation, scholarship. The 2025-2026 Application opens in October 2025.
- The League Foundation currently administers four different scholarship programs for graduating high school seniors supportive of the LGBTQ+ community.
- The Human Rights Campaign is a great resource for searching scholarships, fellowships and grants for LGBTQ+ students.
