Jay Bonham has worked in education his whole career. He began his tenure in college admissions at his alma mater, Hamilton College. While at Hamilton, he was responsible for the recruitment, selection and enrollment of all undergraduate students from the New England area, along with students from Maryland, Washington, DC, and Virginia. Besides his recruitment responsibilities, he was also the athletic liaison and managed the school’s transfer admission program. Jay held similar admission responsibilities at Kenyon College. In addition to his work for Hamilton and Kenyon, he read applications for Dartmouth College and Bucknell University, including their College of Arts and Sciences, College of Engineering, and Freeman College of Management. He has a bachelor’s degree in government with a minor in history from Hamilton College, and a masters of public administration from Syracuse University’s Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs.
